We're going to donate our time to be volunteers at "Taste of West Village", at Uptown Dallas, Texas. Make a $5 donation and you'll be entered into a drawing to win a dinner for four at one of several West Village restaurants or enjoy food tastings for just $1. Looking for a deal on designers, specially shoes? You should check out the pre-sale in all major department stores, such as Neiman Marcus, Barney's New York. They are having their pre-sale in process (40% off). If you're not familiar with pre-sale, no problem...the stores normally invite their regular customers so that the customers can have a first look of the on-sale items. If the customers find something they like, the store will hold the items for them until the public sales start. That means you may need to wait a few days or a week in order to pick up the items. It's totally worth  waiting for since you can always find some good stuff before the sales open to the public.
